Bridge Rolls 6.1, While Welsh Carson Eyes Compuserve

Bridge Information Systems is rolling out an upgraded version of its Bridgestation offering that the vendor says is designed to be easier to use than the products introduced late last year. The Bridgestation 6.1 offerings also include fully integrated Knight-Ridder Financial data, an Internet browser, and e-mail that links to the workstation's alerting system.

At the same time, Welsh Carson Anderson & Stowe is reportedly said to be among those interested in buying H&R Block's Compuserve unit
