Fortis, Deutsche Börse Join Forces

NETWORKING TECHNOLOGIES

FRANKFURT—The banking side of Fortis, a financial and insurance services firm, will use Deutsche Börse's global communications network to connect to trading firms, confirm officials from both organizations.

With this deal, Deutsche Börse, the German group of exchanges and exchange technologies, expands its IT managed services to network operations, while Fortis gains access to 3,000 trading firms already connected on the Deutsche Börse infrastructure. Investment banks, electronic brokerage firms
