BGC Partners Taps GFI Exec for E-Commerce Head
England, who was most recently the head of data and analytics at rival interdealer brokerage GFI Group, will be responsible for BGC's client services, business development and support for e-commerce in North America.
"What I'll be doing in my new role is primarily trying to build on the approach that's worked in BGC's U.K. business," says England. "They have similar products there and have had a lot of success. I'm looking to emulate that," he adds.
