Euronext Has 2 Suitors
The German exchange operator Deutsche Börse released late last week its plans for a merger with the pan-European exchange operator Euronext. The plans would see "the integration and harmonization of the trading infrastructure of Deutsche Börse and Euronext [that] would result in significant efficiency gains for customers," Deutsche Börse officials say.
