AEMS Platforms to Get FIX'ed

LONDON—The platforms of Atos Euronext Market Solutions (AEMS) are expected to receive a FIX-enabled interface before the November 2007 Market in Financial Instruments Directive (Mifid) deadline, an official at AEMS tells DWT.
"We are investing in a smart routing product for our platforms," says John Oddie, global head of the exchange business unit at AEMS. "We will be developing a FIX interface in front of them." The Mifid market reforms from the European Union include a requirement that market
