BoCom Readies Middle-Office App
FRONT PAGE: TRADING FLOOR TECHNOLOGIES
HONG KONG—The Shanghai-based Bank of Communications (BoCom) is set to go live soon with a middle-office application from Summit Systems, part of Misys Treasury Capital Markets (TCM), for its Hong Kong trading floor, confirm BoCom and vendor officials.
The bank has already launched a front-office solution from Summit for its Hong Kong traders. Summit officials say the front-office deal was signed in May 2005, and that the bank began implementation this past June and finished by September 2005. The
