Barra Upgrades Internet Distribution Of Its Analytical Investment Tools

Berkeley, California--In the wake of the June launch of its Internet service, Tednet, Barra is rapidly building up its on-line delivery of analytical tools. The company's flagship analytical tools, Aegis for equities and Cosmos for fixed-income securities, have traditionally been available only in shrink-wrapped versions. While the core products are not yet available on-line, various modules that enhance their performance are being unveiled to portfolio managers and buy-side analysts.
