India's Tata Power looks to SunGard's ZaiNet for trading efficiency

Tata Power Trading Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of India's largest private sector power utility, the Tata Power Company, has selected SunGard's ZaiNet to help streamline and automate its power trading operation. According to SunGard, Tata Power Trading selected SunGard because of its global experience in power markets and ZaiNet's ability to be configured to the requirements of the Indian energy market.
