OM Technology Buys TCAM Systems For Asking Price Of $15 To $20 Million

VENDOR UPDATE

NEW YORK--Ascend Communications has sold TCAM Systems, a provider of front-office trading and trade processing systems, to OM Technology, the Stockholm-based supplier of exchange trading systems, for between $15 and $20 million, say Ascend officials.

It is not clear whether TCAM will keep its current name. The deal is expected to close in April, says a TCAM official.

The sale has been expected since last August when Ascend Communications announced its intentions to sell its non-telecommunications
