Chase Manhattan Bank has selected Reuters' Triarch 2000 as the digital data distribution system that will support its 900 traders in New York City. The decision resolves once and for all the mixed platform incumbency which has lingered as a throwback to the pre-merger past of the bank's New York trading operation. Other technologies to be deployed include a hardware/operating system platform of Sun Microsystems Unix-based Sparcstations, as well as, for some traders, Netscape Communications'
