New Era Of Networks Launches $22M IPO While Landing $3M BZW Deal In London

Timing is everything, as middle ware upstart New Era of Networks (Neon) Englewood, Colo., is learning.

Within the last month, Neon has issued a prospectus for an initial public offering (IPO) of 2.3 million shares on Nasdaq to raise approximately $22 million. In that time, Neon also finalized a global, £2 million (or approximately $3 million) deal with BZW, the investment banking subsidiary of London-based Barclays. (Dealing With Technology, May 30.)
