Reuters posted a six per cent growth rate for its core information products business line for the second quarter, identical to that which it posted for the first quarter. The increase excludes the effect of currency fluctuations, however. At actual exchange rates, Reuters' core information products revenues fell four per cent due to a strong pound sterling. Overall, Reuters' revenues were up eight per cent ex-currency for the second quarter, or down two per cent at actual exchange rates
