Aussie Broker BBY Markets Posit, Equity Crossing System from Jefferies

Burdett, Buckeridge & Young, the Australian institutional equity broker better known as BBY, is preparing for a marketing push of Australian Posit, an equity order-crossing system that the broker has licensed from its developers and modified for the Australian equity market.
Posit was developed by California-based Barra Inc. in partnership with quantitative-oriented U.S. equity broker Jefferies & Co. The crossing system was introduced in the U.S. more than five years ago and launched in the U.K
