CME, SBF Building An Infrastructure For Trading Via CME, SBF & Simex

NEW YORK--The Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), the Singapore International Monetary Exchange (Simex) and the Societe des Bourses Francaises (SBF Paris Bourse) are busy developing the hardware and software components that will serve as the basis for linking these three exchanges.

The three exchanges announced last week that they have joined forces and will be offering all of their derivatives contracts on a single trading platform by the third quarter of this year. This Globex Alliance will form
