First Boston Shakes Up Fixed-Income Technology: Scully Goes; Key I.T. Staff Report To Bond Head

First Boston Corp. has reorganized its fixed-income trading room technology support staff in an effort to speed development and deployment of a range of applications and infrastructure technology in that area. The move comes about six months after the firm had put in place what appeared to be the team that would carry that group forward.

Craig Lipka, the head of fixed-income research who had overseen technology for the division, has returned to the trading side of the business. Meanwhile
