Sungard Launches Octagon Products To Unify Versions Of Devon Futures
APPLICATIONS AND PRODUCTS
Sungard Futures Systems has launched a new family of software applications for exchange-traded derivatives, dubbed Octagon. Vendor officials say Octagon combines newly developed software with parts of the vendor's previous Devon Futures System. More significantly, Octagon will provide a single system capable of supporting the derivatives issued by exchanges worldwide, replacing the different versions of Devon Futures that had been launched for different financial centres.
