Attempting to be the first to deliver secure Internet-based trading, Bloomberg is putting in place the steps necessary for Asia/Pacific traders and salespeople to trade across a range of markets and instrument types, say Bloomberg officials and users. The key ingredient will be the security of Open Traveler, the TCP/IP-based successor to Bloomberg Traveler.
When all of the pieces are in place, Open Traveler will allow users to employ telecommunications exchanges to create extranets for Bloomberg
