Brokers Prepare To Test New Systems For Research Document Mgmt;
APPLICATIONS AND PRODUCTS
A number of securities brokers--including omura Research Institute, Jardine Fleming, W.I. Carr and Baring Securities--are set to begin testing new products that deliver full-text research documents to institutional investors electronically.
For the past two months, Thomson's First Call and Reuters have each been knocking on doors throughout Asia in hopes of convincing the region's major securities brokers to use their new electronic research document delivery systems.
