Chase's New York Facility Sets Standard For London

TRADING ROOM NETWORKS

Chase Manhattan Bank is gearing up to move to a new trading facility in London later this year, one that will carry the bank farther down the technology trail blazed by its New York City head office. The construction of the new room was driven by the U.K. operation's growth, especially in the area of foreign exchange trading.

Following New York's lead, the London trading room will deploy some 280 positions' worth of Reuters' subsidiary Teknekron Software Systems Inc.'s Teknekron Information Bus
