MINT'S NEW PARTNERS: BEA AND NIPPON STEEL
Mint Communication Systems and BEA Systems announced an alliance last week that allows BEA to resell Mint's transformation and rules-based middleware. The two will also be jointly developing an adapter between Mint's intelligent message brokering technology and BEA's Tuxedo transaction processing monitor. The adapter is due in three months, say officials from BEA. The joint development will "have applicability for front, middle and back offices," says
