 Java inventor and Sun Microsystems vice president James Gosling has joined Vitria Technology's technology advisory board. Mountain View, California-based Vitria was founded in 1994 by ex-Tibco technologists (and husband/wife team) Dale Skeen and JoMei Chang, and has developed the Java-based Business-in-Realtime publish and subscribe middleware suite. Vitria--which has been quiet in the past--is beginning to make itself known in the financial trading technology world.
