A new user group for customers of Reuters' Teknekron Software Systems Inc. is being touted by its promoter as an opportunity for Teknekron users to put the squeeze on the vendor for better service. The group is sponsored by an Alameda, Calif.-based financial software consulting firm called Street Science Inc. -- an outfit that has built its practice on providing support for users of Teknekron systems, most of them in the financial industry.
