Fidelity Globally Revamps Equity Trading With Move To TIB & Javelin FIX Engine
MARKET DATA DISTRIBUTION
BOSTON--Fidelity Investments is reengineering its buyside equity trading infrastructure, bringing in Tibco's The Information Bus (TIB) and a FIX engine, ahead of its move to a new Boston trading floor in November.
Fidelity will standardize its equity trading desks on the TIB digital data distribution system and Tibco's Marketsheet for Windows display software. Fidelity officials decline to say how many trading positions will be affected. In addition, Fidelity recently installed New York-based
