CSFB Shifts From TIB Broadcasting To IP Multicasting With Upgrades To Tibco's TIB/Rendezvous & MSW 2.01

LONDON--Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) is upgrading to Tibco's Marketsheet for Windows (MSW), version 2.01, market data display application, and is using Tibco's TIB/Rendezvous (RV) as the IP multicast, messaging bus, say sources.

The TIB with a mixture of Marketsheet for Unix and MSW 1.0 has been in place at the investment bank for some time (Dealing With Technology, April 9, 1993). The upgrade will be a 2,500-position global rollout including CSFB's major trading centres in London, New York
