State Street Launches Equityconnect
CLIENT CONNECTIVITY
BOSTON--State Street has added Equityconnect to its suite of customer trading modules offered through its Global Link platform. Institutions may now route orders over Global Link to five brokers as well as State Street Brokerage, says Simon Wilson-Taylor, managing director of Global Link.
The names of the brokers, and a similar number of ECNs, have not yet been disclosed. The system is in a "limited live release" and will go to a full rollout in February, Wilson-Taylor says.
