REUTERS NAMES MITCHELL AS GENERAL COUNSEL
Reuters
has named Stephen Mitchell as its new general counsel and company secretary. Mitchell succeeds Simon Yencken, who is moving to Reuters' Palo Alto, California-based subsidiary Tibco Finance Technology (TFT). Yencken will serve as executive director and chief operating officer there, reporting to Vivek Ranadive, CEO of TFT and Tibco Software. (See related story, this issue.)
