Instinet to Use Misys FIX Engine Module

TOKYO--Instinet in Asia-Pacific has just gone live with a new FIX engine module for the Market Trader front-end trading platform from Misys Securities Trading Systems (MSTS), a division of vendor Misys.
Instinet will use the module to replace a FIX engine purchased from Sybase, say Instinet officials. Officials at Sybase/Financial Fusion say were unavailable for comment by press time.
