Nomura Securities Banks On Micrognosis, Sun For New Trading Rooms In New York

Nomura Securities International Inc. this Friday will begin moving an estimated 300 traders into new facilities at the World Financial Center in New York from its Maiden Lane offices. The two new trading rooms -- which will handle all of the firm's trading activities -- are equipped with a fleet of Sun Microsystems Inc. SPARCstation workstations and servers supported by a Micrognosis Inc.-supplied data distribution network.
