Chase Issues 600-Position Data Distribution RFP To Eight Vendors-But Leaves FD Consulting Out

Chase Manhattan Bank has issued a request for proposal for a local data distribution and workstation software system to support more than 600 traders in New York and London. Though Chase gave the RFP to eight vendors, it excluded FD Consulting Inc., the system integrator whose software had been in pilot at the bank's New York office since late last year.

In addition to incumbent BT North America Inc., the following vendors were invited to respond to the RFP: Digital Equipment Corp., Kapiti PLC
