Bank Of America Grows In Hong Kong, Tests WAN-Based News Mgmt App

DEALING ROOM SYSTEMS

Bank of America is expanding its Hong Kong dealing room from 80 to 110 positions, to support a new fixed-income trading operation. Although BofA will use its proprietary Microsoft Windows PC-based digital data delivery system to support the entire room in Hong Kong, it has also begun a world-wide initiative to shift its dealing environment from Windows to Windows NT.
