Conde: Sungard Data Will Strongly Urge Subsidiaries To Use Infinity's Data Model

New York Sungard Data Systems expects that its subsidiaries will adopt and integrate the risk management data model that it got when it acquired Infinity Financial Technology earlier this month, even though many of the Sungard subsidiaries are former competitors of Infinity.
In the wake of the merger, Cristobal Conde, who is president of Sungard's trading systems group, says that he "absolutely expects synergy" among the subsidiaries.
