Barclays Capital Markets, Formerly BZW, Kicks Off Global Rollout Of Sungard's Devon Forex System

New York--Barclays Capital Markets, the new name of Barclays de Zoete Wedd (BZW), has gone live in New York with the Devon Forex System, a foreign exchange and money markets trading system from Sungard Capital Markets, a subsidiary of Sungard Data Systems.
The system has been up and running on Barclays' New York trading floor since the beginning of October, says Paul Thrush, global head of foreign exchange trading at Barclays. The bank is now rolling out Devon Forex to its 96-position London FX
