CHX Opens BrokerPlex to FIX Links
EXCHANGE TECHNOLOGIES
CHICAGO--The Chicago Stock Exchange (CHX) is greatly expanding external access to its BrokerPlex system for automating order flow between brokers and specialists, officials tell TTW.
CHX has added an order-management facility to the system, used by 84 brokers at 35 firms, that directly incorporates FIX networks to route order flow from institutions and "upstairs" trading firms, says John Kerin, CTO of CHX.
