Objectswitch, a software supplier to the telecommunications industry, has been creating a stir with its attempt to break into the financial services market. The latest was its announcement that Etrade Group has led a group of investors to put $12 million into Objectswitch and to buy more than $1 million worth of its products. Objectswitch took a shot at Tibco, claiming that its product running on low end Sparc workstations are able to process more requests for data over the Internet than Tibco
