Officials at BT Brokerage Corp., a discount brokerage subsidiary of Bankers Trust Co., say the firm is testing a proprietary electronic trading system called BT Trade. BT plans to start marketing its Windows-based system next year. Running on a Stratus Computer Inc. host, the system will let clients route trades to the NYSE floor and allow users to design their own analytics, do indexing, and manage stock- index futures for portfolios.
