UBS To Shift 260 Traders Despite Outstanding RFP

MANAGEMENT AND STRATEGY

Union Bank of Switzerland, in coordination with its UBS Securities Inc. subsidiary, is proceeding with plans to consolidate treasury and fixed-income traders in a new trading room in New York. The plans call for the bank to retain its incumbent data distribution and voice communications systems, provided respectively by Micrognosis Inc. and IPC Information Systems Inc.
