RBS Hits a Snag with 3000 Xtra

Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has hit a snag with running the latest version of Reuters’ premium market data desktop solution 3000 Xtra over the new Microsoft Windows XPoperating system, say sources familiar with the project.

A source close to both companies says RBS was planning to roll out 3000 Xtra version 4.5 globally but has delayed the implementation because of problems with the software that were identified during testing. For example, the latest version has been certified to run Windows XP
