Thomson Combines Two Groups
ORGANIZATION & STRATEGY
Thomson Financial has combined its Sales and Trading and Investment Banking strategic customer units (SCUs) into a new group called Global Banking and Brokerage, officials confirm.
Lou Eccleston, head of Sales and Trading, has been named to lead the new group. Mark Lerch, head of Investment Banking, is leaving Thomson effective immediately.
Eccleston says there are no plans to reorganize the new group’s staff. Global Banking and Brokerage has a total of about 500 staffers globally.
