Reuters Plans To Offer Online SEC Filings
THIS WEEK'S LEAD STORIES
Reuters Holdings PLC will release an online product to compete with Dow Jones & Co.'s Federal Filings. Federal Filings supplies online filings made by publicly held companies with the Securities and Exchange Commission (MTR, July 24, 1989).
Reuters won't confirm existence of the product. But a source says the Reuters product will supply real-time reports of filings with the SEC along with brief editorial comments. These filings include periodic earnings statements, 8-K important events filings
