StreamBase Goes to 64-bit

StreamBase is slated to announce this week that it has upgraded its Stream Processing Engine from a 32-bit to a 64-bit capacity, so that the software can run in 64-bit hardware environments, officials tell DWT.

The upgrade will allow the Stream Processing Engine to work in hardware environments based upon 64-bit processors such as the Celeron D from Intel, and the Opteron from AMD.
