AIM Management Group has hired John Deane as Chief Technology Officer. Deane, 45, comes to AIM with 18 years of information systems management experience with such firms as Morgan Stanley, Salomon Brothers, JP Morgan, and most recently as a partner at Price Waterhouse.
Deane’s hire comes on the heels of Invesco’s merger with AIM earlier this month for an estimated $2.2 billion in cash and stock, creating one of the largest fund management organizations in the world (IMT, March 14).
