Steve Sparkes is the new managing director and head of IT for the Americas at Barclays Capital in New York. Sparkes joins Barclays from Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB), where he most recently served as managing director of front office IT services. Earlier in his career, Sparkes served as vice president of fixed income technology at CSFB (Trading Systems Technology, September 19, 1994).
