MR. TIB GOES TO BEA SYSTEMS

A co-founder of Teknekron Software Systems (the precursor to Tibco), Mark Bowles, whose Tibco business card carried the moniker "Mr. TIB", has joined BEA Systems, of Sunnyvale, California. His new post is vice president of messaging systems architecture. A Tibco employee since 1986, Bowles was involved in many major TIB deals such as the Salomon Brothers contract (Trading Systems Technology, Sept ember 11, 1989). "I've been sort of doing the same thing since 1986,"
