Neon Picks New President

New Era of Networks last week named Pat Fortune as its new president and chief operating officer (COO). Fortune, a longtime friend of Neon's CEO, Rick Adam, left a post as vice president, chief information officer (CIO) and chief knowledge officer at Monsanto Corp. Since 1998, Fortune has been a Neon board member and has worked before for Adam when he was CIO at Baxter Healthcare in the 1980s. Fortune became CIO when Adam left Baxter.
