Hunting High and Low

During Sifma week in New York in June, I met a colleague's wife, who was unfamiliar with the Sifma show. She said it sounded like an STD. But it is much less unpleasant than that. It is the place to be in June. Or the place to shop for a new job. In fact, I heard one vendor say: "It didn't make sense for us to exhibit this year. Half the people coming to the booth are looking for jobs." Was it really that bad? Many delegates actually said it seemed like the venue was more packed than last year
