Sanwa Lets Tokyo Watch Other Centres Trade, As Systems Win Japan's Annual IT Prize

Sanwa Bank has recently upgraded its risk management and transaction systems to give its chief dealers in Tokyo the ability to watch other centres' trading activity in real time, according to bank officials. Previously, Sanwa's headquarters took nightly downloads of position information from regional branches that maintained separate books.
