Jardine In Tokyo Takes Reuters Feed, Removes Much Of Its Data Costs

Jardine Fleming Securities Ltd. in Japan last week cut over to a digital data distribution system from Reuters that it expects will allow it to shave about 30 percent from its information bills. The system delivers three digital feeds: Reuters' Selectfeed Plus, and direct feeds from the Tokyo Stock Exchange and the Broker's Broker warrants trading service. The new PC-based digital system replaces a room-full of standalone terminals, mostly from Quick Corp.
