As the FIX Industry Begins to Consolidate, Silicon Summit Seeks a Deal

NEW YORK--Larry Gusto, Silicon Summit Technologies' (SST) president and CEO, was here last week to meet with potential buyers and/or partners. The move could signal the beginnings of an expected consolidation movement in the young but booming FIX marketplace.
While Gusto was unable to provide specifics, he did confirm that a deal was in the works and indicated that SST is interested in possibly shedding its FIX business to concentrate fully on its recently launched ASP offerings.
