Commerzbank Readies New Frankfurt Trading Floor for 500 Positions

LONDON--Commerzbank will begin to move 2,200 employees, including around 500 traders, from several Frankfurt locations to a new building this summer, consolidating its treasuries and securities trading floors to enable improved communications.

The HDLZ Project, or Handelsdienstleistungszentrum (translation: trading and service center), involves the investment banking business of Commerzbank, which is moving into a 24,000 square-meter "campus" in Frankfurt. The 4,000 square-meter trading floor
