Telerate Launches Quick-Buster: Kyodo's Front On Its TW Platform

Dow Jones Telerate and Kyodo News, Telerate's sole agent in Japan, last week unveiled TW Front, a domestic Japanese equity service that they no doubt hope will be their answer to Quick Corp. and to Reuters' Japanese equity service, ReuterFirst.
The latest Telerate weapon was first developed by Kyodo as Front, a DOS-based service, and subsequently adapted to run as a DOS application on Telerate's Microsoft Corp. Windows-based Telerate Workstation (TW) platform.
TW Front covers all Japanese
